Depot and workplace charging

Plan charging around your vehicles, your site and the working day.

Start with the daily schedule

List daily mileage, parking time and when vehicles need to leave. Vans returning overnight may have different needs from cars parked during office hours. Include vehicles you plan to add later.

Get the site assessed

Ask a qualified installer to check the electricity supply, available capacity, parking layout and cable routes. Discuss load management, access controls, maintenance and what happens if a charger is unavailable.

Compare the whole proposal

Ask for a written breakdown of equipment, installation, connection work, software and ongoing support. For workplace charging, agree who can use it and how charging is measured and billed.
