Estimates, not quotes

EV Charge Compare gives estimates based on published prices and the answers you give. Your actual costs will depend on your real usage, when you charge, and the supplier's prices and terms at the time you switch. Always check final prices with the supplier.

Public charging prices

Public charging prices vary by site and can change at any time. Where we show a network price, it is a typical price from the sites we checked, not the price at any particular charger. Always check the price on the charger or in the app before you charge. Some prices come from operators' open data published under the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023; we credit the operator on its network page.

Coverage

We don't cover every tariff or supplier. We are not a whole-of-market service and we are not accredited by Ofgem.

Not advice

Nothing on this site is financial advice. You decide whether to switch, and your contract is with the supplier.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep prices correct and show when each was last checked, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, please tell us. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from relying on our estimates.

Links to supplier websites are plain links. We don't receive commission. If that changes, we'll say so clearly.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page.
